Why you’ll love this recipe
- This one dish cheesy ravioli is on the table in about 30 minutes
- It’s hearty and filling, perfect if you have family members who to have bottomless stomachs, like my son 😉
- This meal is budget friendly!
- Made with just 5 pantry staples (not including the seasonings). Frozen ravioli, ground beef, Boursin cheese, spaghetti sauce, and mozzarella cheese
- It goes from the stove to the oven to the table. So easy!
- Aside from boiling the ravioli, it’s made in one pan for easy clean up!

Doesn’t that cheese pull look scrumptious!? Yum!
We love a side of Biscuit Garlic Knots or Cheesy Garlic Sliders and a big side salad with this dinner.
What you’ll need
- A large oven safe skillet
- Lean ground beef – you can also use ground turkey or chicken, or leave out the meat to make it vegetarian
- Spaghetti sauce (your favorite)- one jar
- One puck of Boursin cheese, garlic and herb flavor (did you know these are called pucks? Makes me think of playing hockey with cheese :))- you can also use 4 ounces of cream cheese instead of the Boursin cheese
- Shredded mozzarella cheese– for the topping; this is optional. Leave it off if you don’t like it super cheesy, because the shredded mozzarella will make it over the top cheesy.
- Frozen mini ravioli – I’m using cheese and spinach filled, use your favorite
- Seasonings– Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning

How to make it
🧑🍳This comforting, cheesy ravioli skillet comes together fast and tastes like something you’d get from a cozy Italian restaurant—but it’s made right in your kitchen with simple ingredients!
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Cook the Ravioli:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the ravioli according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef:
While the ravioli cooks, heat an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until no longer pink, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess grease if needed.

Season the Meat:
Season the beef with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir to combine and let cook for a minute or two to bring out the flavor.

Make It Creamy:
Pour your favorite marinara sauce into the skillet with the beef. Stir in the Boursin cheese and continue stirring until it’s melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.

Combine with Ravioli:
Add the cooked ravioli to the skillet and gently mix until everything is coated in the rich, cheesy sauce.

Bake with Cheese (Optional):
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top and bake in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. (If you’re short on time or keeping it lighter, you can skip the extra cheese and baking step.)

Serve and Enjoy:
Serve hot straight from the skillet and enjoy this cozy, satisfying dinner with a green salad or garlic bread on the side!

🍝 Leftovers & Variations
Storing Leftovers:
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or on the stovetop until warmed through.
Make it your own
- Swap the ground beef for ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option—or skip the meat altogether for a vegetarian version.
- No Boursin cheese? No problem! You can substitute with 4 ounces of cream cheese for a similar creamy texture.
- Use your favorite variety of filled ravioli—I love cheese and spinach, but meat-filled or mushroom ravioli work great too. You can even sub in tortellini or another pasta shape if that’s what you have on hand.
This recipe is super flexible—perfect for using what you’ve got in your fridge or pantry!
