Crock Pot Meal Prep Chicken Breast (Easy Make-Ahead Chicken for the Week)

  1. Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Add the chicken breasts in an even layer (as much as possible).
  3. If using, pour the pickle juice over the chicken.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper evenly over the chicken.
  6. Cover and cook: Low: 5–6 hours or High: About 3 hours
  7. Once the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F, remove it from the slow cooker.
  8. Leave the chicken breasts whole, slice them, or shred them using two forks or a hand mixer.
  9. Allow the chicken to cool completely before storing.
