Crock Pot Mississippi Chicken

You've heard of (and probably love) Mississippi Pot Roast. This Crock Pot Mississippi Chicken is all the flavors of the OG, but made with chicken. It's so flavorful, juicy and delicious, you'll want to make this dinner on repeat.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds chicken breast
  • 6-10 pepperoncinis
  • 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice
  • 1 ounce packet dry ranch dressing mix
  • .87 ounce packet low sodium brown gravy or chicken gravy, turkey gravy or au jus
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter cut into slices

Method
 

  1. Spray a 6-8 quart crock pot with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Place the chicken in the crock pot.
  3. Sprinkle over the ranch and gravy mix. Pour in the pepperoncini juice.
  4. Place the butter slices and pepperoncinis on top of the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on low 5 hours or high for 3 hours.
  6. Shred the chicken and serve over rice, mashed potatoes or on sandwiches.
