Easy Ravioli Casserole

A delicious weeknight dinner everyone will love!

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF
  2. Lightly spray or oil a 9 x 13 baking dish
  3. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix the sauce in with the beef.
  4. Pour 1/2 cup of sauce mixture into the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Add half of the frozen ravioli on top of the sauce in a single layer.
  6. Top with half of the cooked ground beef sauce mixture, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and half of the parmesan cheese.
  7. Repeat the layer- frozen ravioli, ground beef sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Uncover and bake another 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Makes 6-8 servings
Make it in a Crock Pot:
  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium, season, and drain if necessary.
  2. Spray your crock pot with non stick spray, oil, or line your crock pot with a crock pot liner.
  3. Add 1/2 c of the tomato sauce to the bottom of the crock pot.
  4. Add 1 single layer of the frozen ravioli (half the bag), then half of the cooked ground beef, 1 cup of sauce and 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle on grated parmesan cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers: layer the remaining ravioli, the rest of the beef, the remaining sauce, and the other cup of mozzarella cheese. 
  6. Cook on low 2 hours.
