Ingredients
- 1 loaf uncut bread such as Italian
- 1/2 pound deli turkey
- 1/2 pound sliced cheddar cheese
- bacon cooked, optional
- 4 tbsp butter melted
- 2 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp Lawry’s garlic parsley salt mix
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Using a sharp knife or electric bread knife, cut slits into the bread about an inch apart, don’t cut all the way through, just 3/4 of the way down to be able to stuff the bread.
- Stuff every other opening with cheese, bacon (if using) and turkey. Keep in mind we’ll be cutting these into sandwiches, which is why you'll stuff every other pocket.
- Mix the melted butter and seasoning together and brush over the top of the bread and down into the slices of bread. Bake for 5-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Slice the bread into sandwiches.
