Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup peach jam
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish sauce
  • 2 teaspoons mustard powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Fresh Parsley leaves
  • Crackers for serving

Method

  1. Add the softened cream cheese, horseradish, peach jam, and seasonings to a mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer, whip the filling until creamy and smooth.
  2. Spoon the filling in to a piping bag or to a Ziploc bag and cut the corner.
  3. Pipe onto crackers; starting at the small carrot point. Pipe the filling thinly on one side increasing to thick on the other side so it resembles a carrot. Add a parsley leaf on the thick end and serve.

Notes

Make sure to use the horseradish sauce that comes in a bottle, not straight horseradish.
Prepare the filling a day or two ahead for easy holiday entertaining. Pipe on to the cracker just before serving.
Serve as a dip with crackers on the side instead of pipping the filling on the crackers.
Substitute apricot jam if you don't have peach.
