Road Trip Snack Mix

What's the most important thing to remember on a long road trip? The snacks, of course! This Road Trip Snack Mix is filled with all of the favorites; Goldfish crackers, oyster crackers, pretzels, Cheez-Its and Bugles, seasoned in a zesty spice mix. It's hard to put down, so it's a good thing this recipe makes a lot!

  1. Preheat oven to 275°F
  2. Line a large 15"x22" rimmed sheet pan or 2 smaller 11"x17" sheet pans with parchment paper.
  3. In a small bowl or measuring cup, whisk together olive oil, ranch and all the seasonings.
  4. In a large mixing bowl combine the goldfish, Cheez-it’s, Bugles, pretzels and oyster crackers.
  5. Pour the olive oil mixture over the snacks, mix well until combined.
  6. Pour the coated snack mix onto the large parchment lined rimmed sheet pan or 2 smaller sheet pans, in a single layer. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven. Let cool completely on the pan and store in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • Substitute melted, unsalted butter for the olive oil
  • Swap any of the snacks out for something different or add your favorites in, such as cereal, nuts, popcorn, rye chips, sesame sticks, flavored crackers, etc.
  • Make sure the snack mix is cooled completely before storing. This will keep fresh in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
