  1. Add the beef to a pan over medium high heat and cook until no longer pink. If you’re using green peppers and onions, add those in with the beef to cook together. Drain the meat if necessary.
  2. Spray the crock pot with nonstick spray or use a crock pot liner. Add in the beef and all other ingredients. Stir together. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  3. Serve on buns with a slice of cheddar or American cheese.

Notes

This makes large batch of Sloppy Joes, but it freezes well if you want to freeze half for later. Just add the cooked sloppy joe meat to a freezer safe bag and freeze up to 4 months. Thaw in the fridge for 24 hours and heat in a pot on the stove.
