Ingredients
- 2-21 ounce cans Lucky Leaf Apple Fruit Filling
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 13.25 ounce box yellow cake mix or spice cake mix for extra fall flavor!
- 1 cup melted butter 2 sticks
Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Pour both cans of Lucky Leaf Apple Fruit Filling into the dish and spread evenly. Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon over the apples.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix right on top of the apples — no stirring!
- Pour melted butter evenly over the cake mix. Make sure every spot gets a little love. Use a fork to incorporate dry cake mix spots in with the butter to ensure there's no uncooked cake batter.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly.
- Cool slightly before serving. Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for the full cozy fall experience.
