This Chocolate Lasagna dessert with a brownie crust is the ultimate chocolate lover's treat! It has a layer of rich fudgy brownie, a tangy cream cheese layer, a cool and creamy chocolate pudding layer and is topped off with whipped cream and mini chocolate chips. Perfect for a party, potluck, or get-together!

Chocolate Lasgana

This Chocolate Lasagna dessert with a brownie crust is the ultimate chocolate lover's treat!

Ingredients
  

Brownie Layer:
  • 18 oz brownie mix + Ingredients listed on the box usually oil, eggs, and water
Cream Cheese Layer:
  • 1 8 oz block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 8 oz tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Chocolate Pudding Layer:
  • 2 3.9 oz boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk less than box directions for thicker pudding
Topping:
  • 1 8 oz tub whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix instructions.
  2. Prepare and bake the brownies in a greased 9x13 inch pan as directed on the box.
  3. Let cool completely before adding layers.
Make the Cream Cheese Layer:
  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  3. Fold in 1 tub of whipped topping until smooth and fluffy. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Spread evenly over the cooled brownie layer.
Make the Pudding Layer:
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mixes and 3 cups of cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes).
  2. Let sit for 5 minutes to fully thicken.
  3. Spread over the cream cheese layer.
Final Layer:
  1. Spread the remaining tub of whipped topping over the pudding layer.
  2. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips for garnish.
Chill:
  1. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) before serving to let the layers set. Slice with a warm, sharp knife into squares and enjoy!
