Slow Cooker Chicken and Pasta

A flavorful and saucy weeknight dinner made with chicken and simple pantry ingredients, easily made in the slow cooker.

  1. Spray the crock pot with nonstick spray. Add the chicken to the crock pot. Sprinkle over the seasonings. Pour in the alfredo and marinara sauce.
  2. Fill the marinara sauce jar with 1/2 cup water and shake it. Pour into the crockpot. Add the fresh basil, if using.
  3. Cover and cook on low 3-4 hours or high 2 hours.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the ziti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  5. When the chicken is finished cooking, shred it and add in the cooked ziti. Mix well.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil and shaved parmesan cheese.
