Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken breast
- 24 ounce jar marinara sauce
- 15 ounce jar Alfredo sauce
- 16 ounces ziti
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Fresh basil optional
- Shaved parmesan optional
Method
- Spray the crock pot with nonstick spray. Add the chicken to the crock pot. Sprinkle over the seasonings. Pour in the alfredo and marinara sauce.
- Fill the marinara sauce jar with 1/2 cup water and shake it. Pour into the crockpot. Add the fresh basil, if using.
- Cover and cook on low 3-4 hours or high 2 hours.
- Meanwhile, cook the ziti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- When the chicken is finished cooking, shred it and add in the cooked ziti. Mix well.
- Garnish with fresh basil and shaved parmesan cheese.

If you are substituting chicken thigh, reduce the cook time to 2-3 hours on low.
