- Sheet Pan
- Parchment Paper
- 16.5 ounces refrigerated store-bought sugar cookie dough– or use your favorite homemade recipe
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- Assorted berries (I’m using strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and pineberries – which are white strawberries, a cross between pineapple and strawberry)
- 2 tablespoons jam– raspberry, strawberry, or apricot (I’m using seedless raspberry)
- 1 tablespoon water– to thin the jam to make the glaze

How To Make It
Step 1: Prepare the Cookie Base
Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the sugar cookie dough into ½-inch slices and arrange them into a heart shape on the baking sheet. Press the dough together to form a solid heart about ¼-inch thick. Use a paring knife to trim the edges and reshape as needed. Any trimmed dough can be used to fill in gaps.

Tip: Place plastic wrap over the dough and use another baking sheet to gently press the dough evenly — this makes shaping super easy.

Step 2: Bake and Cool
Bake for 15–20 minutes, just until the edges are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool completely. (The cookie will continue to cook on the hot sheet pan, so be careful not to overbake) To speed things up, you can pop the baked cookie into the refrigerator.

Step 3: Make the Cream Cheese Frosting
In a mixing bowl, add the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Use an electric mixer to whip until smooth and fluffy.

Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled sugar cookie.

Step 4: Decorate with Fruit
Wash and thoroughly dry all berries. Slice strawberries in half and remove stems. Arrange the fruit on top of the frosting in any pattern you like — hearts, rows, or a colorful mix.
Step 5: Add the Glaze
In a small bowl, combine the jam and water. Microwave for 10–20 seconds until pourable, then whisk until smooth. Use a pastry brush to gently dab the glaze over the berries.
Slice, serve, and enjoy! 🍓

Tips
- Make sure the cookie is fully cooled before frosting to prevent melting.
- Dry the fruit well so excess moisture doesn’t thin the frosting.
- Use lighter-colored jams like apricot for a more subtle glaze shine.
- Chill before slicing for cleaner cuts.

FAQ’s
Can I make this fruit pizza ahead of time?
Yes! You can bake the cookie base up to 24 hours in advance. Store it tightly wrapped at room temperature. Assemble with frosting and fruit up to 6–8 hours before serving and refrigerate until ready to serve.
How do I store leftovers?
Cover leftovers tightly and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The fruit may release some juices, but it will still taste delicious.
Can I use homemade sugar cookie dough?
Absolutely. If using homemade dough, roll it out to about ¼-inch thickness and shape into a heart before baking.
What other fruits work well?
Kiwi, mandarin oranges, blackberries, grapes, or sliced bananas all work great. Just avoid overly juicy fruit.
Can I make individual heart fruit pizzas?
Yes! Shape smaller hearts and reduce baking time to 10–12 minutes.
