How to make it
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy. Spread the mixture evenly into a deep serving dish or bowl.
Pour the caramel sauce over the top, letting it cover the cream cheese layer completely.
For a little extra crunch and flavor, sprinkle on your favorite toppings — chopped peanuts, mini chocolate chips, or toffee bits all work deliciously.
Serve with crisp apple slices or graham crackers for dipping… then dig in and enjoy! 🍎✨
Tip!
To prevent the apples from turning brown, cut the apples into chunks and soak for 5 minutes in a bowl of water with 1 teaspoon of salt. Rinse the apples and pat dry.

Topping Ideas
Top your dip any way you choose! For a party, you could make multiple dishes because it’s so simple, and top each dish with something different. I just think of the toppings I see on candy apples. So many delicious possibilities!
- Chopped nuts
- Mini chocolate chips
- Toffee bits
- Crumbled Oreos or other cookies
- Flaky sea salt
- Crushed pretzels
- Mini M&M’s
- Granola
- Sprinkles
- Shredded coconut

What to serve
I love an assortment of apples to serve alongside the caramel dip such as Granny Smith apples, Pink Lady, Red delicious, or Fuji.
Other ideas:
- Graham Crackers- honey, chocolate or cinnamon
- Scooby snacks
- Cookies- chocolate, gingerbread or gingersnaps, Nilla wafers, sugar cookies
