Serving suggestions

FAQ: Crock Pot Honey Mustard Chicken

Can I use chicken thighs instead of breasts?
Yes! Boneless, skinless chicken thighs work great and stay extra juicy. Cook time remains the same.

What if I don’t have stone ground mustard?
You can substitute Dijon mustard for a similar tangy flavor.

Can I double the recipe?
Absolutely. This recipe scales well—just ensure your crock pot isn’t more than ¾ full and add a little more cooking time if needed.

Is the spicy brown mustard required?
Nope! It adds a bit of heat, but you can leave it out if you prefer a sweeter honey mustard sauce.

How do I store leftovers?
Refrigerate leftover chicken and sauce in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or on the stovetop.
