Ingredients
- Large Skillet– I love my braiser- I use this one
- 12 oz pasta (short cut, I’m using rigatoni)

- 1 cup frozen peas
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups milk (or half & half)
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- Seasonings: Salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, Optional: red pepper flakes, parsley
How To Make It
Step 1: In a large deep skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
Step 2: Pour in chicken broth, milk, and heavy cream. Stir, then add uncooked pasta.

Step 3: Bring to a gentle boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10–15 minutes. Stir occasionally until pasta is tender.
Step 4: Stir in ham and peas. Cook for 2–3 minutes until heated through.

Step 5: Add parmesan, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir until creamy and combined.

FAQ’s
Can I use a different pasta shape?
Yes! Just keep an eye on cook time—thicker pasta may need a few extra minutes.
Can I make this ahead of time?
Yes, but it will thicken in the fridge. Add a splash of milk when reheating.
Can I freeze it?
Cream-based sauces can separate, so it’s best enjoyed fresh or refrigerated.
