  • 4-6 quart crock pot
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen fully cooked meatballs (beef, turkey, or chicken)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional, for depth)
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a little kick)
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

How To Make It

Add meatballs: Place the frozen meatballs in the crock pot.

Make sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, ketchup, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.

Combine: Pour the sauce over the meatballs and gently stir to coat.

Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours, or on HIGH for 1.5–2 hours. Meatballs should be heated through and sauce bubbly.

Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired. Serve over rice, noodles, or steamed veggies.

  • 1 32 oz bag frozen fully cooked meatballs (beef, turkey, or chicken)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp sesame oil optional, for depth
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional, for a little kick
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Spray the crock pot with nonstick cooking spray. Place the frozen meatballs in the crock pot.
  2. Make sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, ketchup, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and gently stir to coat.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours, or on HIGH for 1.5–2 hours, stirring the meatballs halfway through the cook time. Meatballs should be heated through and sauce bubbly.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired. Serve over rice, noodles, or steamed veggies.
